Colossians 3:1-4

You have been raised with Christ, so set your hearts on things above. For you have died and now the life you have is hidden with Christ in God.

Resurrection is not about what happens to a body after it dies. Instead, Paul tells the Christians at Colossae, a small city near Ephesus in what today is Turkey, that their resurrection is a present reality. Faith is dying to life as an everyday, material existence and being born anew in a life marked by hope and love.

This is what Paul means by affirming that Christians live "in Christ." And through their faith, Christians also live "in God."

Grace and peace . . . Bob
